Dyke Shannon - Founder and Owner

Dyke Shannon has always believed in strong Community Involvement as a way to ensure a better quality of life locally. He has served on and held leadership positions on numerous Committees, Boards of Directors, and Associations helping the community.  These appointments have come from Governors to local associations.

Mr. Shannon came to Florida in 1975 as the Executive Director (Department Adjutant) of the Florida American Legion, the largest State Veteran's Organization with 140,000 war time veterans. Serving in the U.S. Army, Mr. Shannon reached the rank of Captain and served as Company Commander in Vietnam 1968-69.  He retired after 30 years of service with the American Legion.  The Shannon's raised their family locally and have two grown children and two grandsons. He and his wife Debi have been married for 43 years.

D&D Enterprises of Sanford has always worked with Businesses and Associations both large and small.  We believe in having a "relationship" with our partners.  We enjoy working with small companies with the theory that "big companies were small companies at some time and we want to grow with them as they grow".  We are also poised to handle the needs of large corporations.  We take pride in our work and take great pleasure in making our clients happy!
